Bootea 14 Day Detox

Recently I decided to be more healthy and eat better – so as part of this I ordered the Bootea 14 day detox. This tea claims to help with weight loss and help you sleep – among other things. In the 14 day detox, I got 14 daytime teabags and 7 night time teabags. You take the night time tea every other day.

I must say I read quite a few reviews before buying this, raving about how nice it tastes – I really do disagree with that. But if you can get over the not so nice tasting tea, the benefits outweigh the drawbacks by far.
They give you some ideas on what sort of things you can eat alongside the tea – which I thought was brilliant. As I’m pretty rubbish at sticking to diets my first thought was “oh no, can’t live off salad for the next two weeks”. But the dishes they suggest are actually really tasty, for example:
Breakfast (choose one a day)
1 Banana, 1 kiwi fruit and 1 pot of natural fat-free yoghurt.
1 apple, a handful of grapes, 1 orange and one nectarine.
2 slices of wholemeal toast with low fat spread and honey.
2 weetabix with skimmed milk and 1 apple.
Mid Morning Snack
1 Banana.
1 Wholemeal toast.
100g hommus and carrot sticks.
1/2 carton fresh bean soup.
Dinner
1/2 carton of minestrone soup with wholemeal roll and 1 orange.
Salad topped with 1 smoked mackerel and 1 wholemeal pitta.
4 oat crackers with low fat soft cheese.
1 small box of sushi and fruit salad.
Tea Time
Omelette with peppers, onions and mushrooms.
Prawn stir fry and egg noodles.
Sweet jacket potatoes and creamy salmon.
I must admit I’ve not seen rapid changes but eating healthier does feel a lot better! Hopefully after the 14 days have finished I’ll notice a big difference 🙂

Its definitely worth a try 🙂 It does make you feel healthier – weight loss is fairly minimal though unless you do a lot of exercise I think. Although the diet does help 🙂
