My Boots advantage card finally came through in the post so I decided to treat myself to some essentials!
First up is Elegant Touch’s stick on nails – I know what you’re thinking.. Stick on nails? Awful. But they are actually REALLY good. They stay on for a good few days. (I’ve only tried them for 4 days before taking them off because I get bored really easy haha) I chose the black ones with white hearts on and the white ones with a nude triangle design at the bottom. They are between £7.99-£8.99 so they aren’t the cheapest but they are worth it.
Next up I chose to invest in the “How to look the best at everything” kit by Benefit. I’ve wanted this for absolutely ages – so I thought why not? It includes mini versions of POREfessional, Hello Gorgeous Foundation, Boi-ing Concealer and Benefits Powder Foundation with a little brush to apply it with. I think its good value for money at £25.50 as most of the Benefit full sized products range from £17-27+. Its great if you just want tog give the products a try before committing to the full sized ones.
Real Techniques! A bloggers favourite. After purchasing a set of these brushes I’ve been wanting the powder brush to complete it for a good while now. I think that these brushes are some of the best around and have definitely improved the look of my make up.
Then I spotted the new range from Rimmel by Kate Moss and decided to buy the mascara. I tried this straight away as I’m fairly fussy with mascaras – and it really is great. I’m considering doing a full post on this product as it truly is great. Perfect budget mascara. It’s currently on offer at boots for just £5! So grab it while you can.
Finally, I picked up a couple of impulse sprays as they are only £1 and great to stick in your handbag and freshen up during the day!
Pretty pleased with my boots haul overall!
