Charlotte Tilbury Haul

I had never tried Charlotte Tilbury make up before my birthday. However I decided to treat myself!
I always wanted to try some products but never knew where to start as I had no experience with the brand.
Recently I’ve found myself more and more drawn to ‘high end’ make up. I personally think 9 times out of 10, high end make up tends to be better quality and value.

After reading many reviews I decided to go for:
Firstly, I love this make up bag! The quote is so lovely: “Give a woman the right make up and she can conquer the world.” On the other side of the bag is the Charlotte Tilbury logo and a red lips pattern. I think this is a lovely handbag make up bag as it’s not huge but it’s big enough to fit all of your essential make up items. It’s £15.00 which I don’t think is too bad for a make up bag really.

Next I decided to go for two shades of the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Lustre lip glosses. I decided on a nude shade which was ‘high society’ and a classic red which was ‘red vixen’. I apologise to anyone who hates not seeing the lip glosses actually being worn – but please see the links above as they show you on  the Charlotte Tilbury website what the colours look like on the lips.
The red colour is probably my favourite of the two as it’s really vibrant and looks amazing on the lips. I also like the fact that neither of the lip glosses are really sticky like some lip glosses can be.
As you can see, the high society lip gloss is more of a nude, brown colour. This is great for everyday as it goes with every look. I often put it in my handbag as take it to work as its easy to apply quickly throughout the day.
Finally I bought the full fat lashes mascara in glossy black. As I have said before, I don’t use any other colour of mascara as I don’t think it suits me. As I have dark eyes and dark ish hair, I much prefer black mascara.
I love this mascara – I think it’s definitely worth £22. It really makes my eyelashes look so long and lovely. And NO clumps! Which is a pet peeve of mine when it comes to mascaras.  I will repurchase this mascara 100% when I finish using it.
And the packaging is so nice! I’m a sucker for nice packaging on make up.
I love the way the make up is delivered too, as it comes in a box all wrapped up. This is perfect for presents, especially coming up to Christmas.
I can’t wait to try out more of the Charlotte Tilbury collection.
Any recommendations?

Oooh love what you picked up – Charlotte Tilbury has to be my favourite high end brand! I'd definitely recommend her lipsticks and the Filmstar Bronze & Glow palette if you're into contour! x

    Always, Alice
