First I use the Laura Mercier foundation primer. I love this stuff! I think it makes your skin look radiant and feel gorgeous. It also helps you make up go on a lot smoother and helps to avoid your foundation clumping.
I then use Rimmel Foundation in Ivory. I apply this using my Expert Face Brush by Real Techniques. I bought this brush recently and I think it does make a difference to how your make up looks. I much prefer using a brush to using your fingers to blend in foundation now.
I then use my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Cool Medium. Again, this is a product I’ve bought recently – mainly due to bloggers/youtubers raving about this product. It was super cheap too!
I do like this concealer so far – I have very bad dark circles and I do feel it improves the look of them.
After applying my concealer I use Rimmel Stay Matte Powder Foundation all over my face as I hate having a shiny face! I apply this with the Buffing Brush by Real Techniques or the Foundation Brush.
Next I apply black eyeliner to my eyes. I use a MAC liquid liner for the top and a pencil for the bottom.
For mascara I’m using Rimmel Scandaleyes mascara at the moment. I think this product is okay but I have used better in the past. I really need to find a new mascara which I love!
I’m not the best at ‘contouring’ but I tend to use Hoola Bronzer by Benefit along my cheekbones to give my face some colour and definition.
For my eyebrows I’ve started using the eyebrow pencil/tint – Brow Archery by Soap and Glory. I don’t really like the pencil side as I think its quite waxy and doesn’t give a great effect. But I love the tint side. It’s just like a felt tip pen where you colour in and shape your eyebrows. You have to be very careful you don’t apply too much though as they can look like you’ve drawn them on with a felt tip. (Not a good look!)
Finally, for lips I love a good red lip! MAC ‘cockney’ is one of my favourite red lipsticks to use.
And that is what I tend to use for my everyday look!
