Glamour Beauty Box

The glamour spring edit beauty box
latest in beauty box

I absolutely love it when Glamour bring out their beauty boxes every so often! They always have such good quality products.

This box is around £16.99 – which I know is more expensive than the usual beauty box but I feel you have to pay more for better quality products.

In this box I received:
Nuxe Masque Creme Fraiche Face Mask
Kiko Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow
Ellie Saab Perfume Sample
Rimmel Oh My Gloss! Lipgloss
Model Co Lip and Cheek Tint
Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Nail Polish
Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Top Coat
Beauty UK Brow Kit
Moroccan Intense Hydrating Hair Mask

I’m really impressed with this box this month!

First up the Nuxe Masque Creme Fraiche Face Mask. I’ve actually received a couple of these before in beauty boxes and I have to say – its an okay product. I wouldn’t repurchase this personally but I do use it occasionally when I receive one in a beauty box.

Next is the Kiko Long Lasting Stick Eyeshadow. I love love love the colour of this eyeshadow. I’m not an eyeshadow girl but I’ve been trying to use them more recently and I definitely prefer stick or cream eyeshadows over powder eyeshadows. I don’t know why I just think they are easier to apply and last longer. Kiko is also a brand I haven’t tried yet so I’m excited to try this product out properly and see what happens!

A classic beauty box product – perfume samples. I know most people moan at getting perfume samples but I actually like them. I think they are great for sticking in your handbag and also discovering new perfumes without committing to purchasing a full size product.

Rimmel is easily my favourite drug store brand. They have such high quality products for the price. So I was happy when I saw that they had included a Rimmel lipgloss. I have tried this product briefly and I’m happy that its not very sticky like most lipgloss’. Overall it seems like a good product and would also be good as a top coat over matte lipsticks to turn them glossy.

Next up is the Revlon Colorstay Gel Envy Nail Polish and Top Coat. Revlon isn’t really a brand I use so I’m excited to give these a try. Although I’m not too sure whether I like the colour of the nail polish yet!

Then there is the Beauty UK Brow Kit. I’ve never really tried brow kits as I tend to just fill in my eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil or the Brow Archery Pen by Soap and Glory. But I’ll try this out! I like how it has different shades to suit most people.

Finally, the Moroccan Intense Hydrating Hair Mask! I have dyed my hair a lot in the past so any hair care products in a beauty box are always a bonus! This product seems like it will really recover damaged hair and I’m looking forward to trying it.

Overall, I really like this box and think it is worth paying a bit more for.

I love this box and love how you get a free 12 month print subscription to glamour magazine too! Think it makes the price of the box even more reasonable

Ooh yeah I forgot about that! It does make it more reasonable for the price 🙂

I have to admit, this post has completely swayed my decision as to whether or not get this box! I saw it in the magazine and was tempted, but you got so many nice products I may have to splurge on it! xo
