Glossybox July 2014

july 2014 glossybox review
I have to say I loved this months Glossybox! I loved theme boxes as I always think they are so much better than the regular boxes. This months theme was, of course, 4th July! Hence the stars and stripes patterned box.

I admit that the past few Glossybox’s I’ve received have been disappointing, so I wasn’t sure what to expect with this box really. But I was impressed – much better than previous months!

I first tried Bellapierre in a Glossybox and I love this brand. It’s not a brand I buy but I always love to see it in a Glossybox. This time round I got a Bellapierre lipstick in an orange shade – perfect for Summer!
Next up is Absolute New York Perfecting Eyeshadow Primer. I have to admit I don’t use eyeshadow at all really.. I’m not the best at applying it and often I feel like a ten year old when applying eyeshadow. So I’m not too sure if I’ll be using this product, although I’ve read a few reviews raving about it – so perhaps its worth a try.
I always use lip balms, therefore I was pleased to see Carmex moisturising lip balm in this months Glossybox. I’m forever suffering from chapped lips and this product being such a well known brand should be great for me!
NYC cream to powder blush was the next product in this box. I use blusher on a day to day basis so this will be great for me to use. I’ve never used a cream to powder blush so I’m excited to see if this is better than my current blusher!
And lastly, there was a Color Club nail polish. The colour of this nail polish is a bit unusual to me as I don’t tend to wear this colour. However, change is good! I also like that this product is cruelty free and non-toxic.
Overall, I quite like this Glossybox in comparison to previous months.
