Recently I saw the new Kate Moss mascara by Rimmel on offer for £5 in Boots and thought I would give it a go. I’ve been using Benefit’s “They’re Real” Mascara for the past few months but found the price tag not too purse friendly.
I love Rimmel products – I’ve reviewed my particular favourites in the past including the 60 Seconds Nail Polishes and Moisture Renew Lipsticks. My love for Rimmel’s other products was what initally drew me to this item.
The design of the packaging stands out from other mascara’s as it is almost mirror like. Handy if your ever without a mirror and need a quick check of how your eyelashes are looking!
The brush is curved quite unusually but I found this actually makes applying the mascara much easier and more precise. Compared to Benefit’s standard thin brush shape, I much prefer Rimmel’s.
No matter how much you apply it doesn’t go clumpy – which is a big problem for myself as I always end up putting just a tad too much on and it ends up looking clumpy!
This mascara also comes in blue as well I believe – so if you fancy spicing up your make up and going for something a bit more unusual that might be worth giving a go.
I think this product is a great alternative for Benefit’s Mascara. Its purse friendly, does a great job and has great lasting power all day long.
